Seth, Lucky, Anyone- 4 to 5 spd swap(one moe question)

i want a tach in mine too! im thinking of getting the factory guage cluster off ebay. wonder if i could roll the mileage back to match mine? wonder if itd be a bitch to do ?where does the tach hook up?

just an after thought - you know, the 80s model toyota celicas have tons of parts that are interchangable with our trucks !

Rolling the tach is pretty easy on these trucks. Just take it apart and manually spin it. The whole drill trick doesn't really work.

If you get an SR5 cluster you have to add some sensors I think to make ti work.

Gotcha...yeah he had a newer one gone thru and went to put it in and- well, yeah the stick doesn't go thru the hole at all!

He found on older one for 650 plus exchange but holy shit thats steep for a 20 year old tranny that could be 100% factory internals!

I'll probably end up just moving tho hole back 3 inches for him...
