Wow, this thread bring back so many memories. I got started in the mid-90's going to Nats in Pigeon Forge. I see a lot of rides in this thread that i remember seeing at the shows there. I also saw a minitrux.com pic. that in itself is amazing to me. I was one of the photographers for them in the late 90's before the original owners sold the site to its current owners. I am trying to contact the former owners to see if any of the old pics were archived and if so if i can get them.

Some of the trucks i would like to know status on:

Work Truck: The purple ex cab mazda that came out of West Virginia.

Fusion: The yellow Nissan with the 8 bass cannons in the bed, and the hydraulically actuated snug top.

There was an S-10 that showed up there at minis not long after being featured in MT, oragne base color, with graphics that had some leapord print in the it. I remember the guy had his hair dyed in leapord print too.

There was also a blue S-10 that used to frequent the minis, ex. cab, long bed with a snug that had windows down the side. It had some airbrush work on the hood with some tribal and it had fish in it. The truck i believe was built in Ohio originally. It sold to a guy in VA near where im from who when i met him was claiming he built it, found out a few years later, he had bought it that way. I saw it about 4 or 5 years ago, and it was still in pristine condition.

Would love to know the status on these as well:

This one was a staple at the minis. Us

WOW i belive that ranger belonged to Tony Audino JR. i wanted a ranger long before i saw this one and then once i saw it i knew i had to build one. i had that feature up in my bedroon forever. just an awsome truck!

I know my truck wasnt that popular, being a mitsu guy you kind of expect that. But its now sitting in a driveway rotting away in deep south Louisiana. Ive had an opportunity to buy it back twice, but keep passing up.

this photo was taken in March of 2004 in front of my old house, this was the last time i had the truck. i took this picture during the lowlife video photo shoot, which is the day i met mike the owner of lowlife video. (i miss my truck....tear)

The truck was finished in 2002, so its actually held up pretty good. I know the guy only put about 5,000 miles on it since he got it. but i put over 20,000 after i finished it. i mean i drove it from cali to greenville once, that was over 3600 miles alone.

these photos were taken in july of 2007, apparently the truck had already been sitting for a year. My favorite photo is the wendys cup on top of the roof. poor mitsu.

damn that's depressing. i had a shot at buying it back a few years ago and i really wanted to. But by then it was already gutted, repainted and missing a ton of parts. just couldnt bring myself to look at it again in that state so i passed on it.

wish the graphics that Frank sprayed would have stayed on the truck. oh well.

maybe someday someone will restore it.

I've also been curious about the "fusion" truck. I asked about it in a different thread, or maybe it was earlier in this one!?! It was owned by Jerry Rapp. Had a nissan cab and a toyota bed. I also remember seeing the ranger in PF in the late 90's maybe early 2000's.
