bodydropped AC

besides using the factory ac, how much to those vintage air kits cost? I need something that will blow cold air if they make something portable (not a box fan ) is there such a thing? cause i have heat coming through my firewall/floorboard and it gets really hot sometimes. dont know how to fix it besides putting alot of heatshield or something of the sort. anyone got any ideas on what others have done?? and how hard would it be to put my factory ac back in with all that stuff I disconnected from under the hood?

i see no pics of the ac.....just the block...

sealing the truck will keep alot of the heat out. a couple layers of good dynamat w/ the chrome backing will do the trick and make sure u get all the holes sealed up to.

its only when i have the windows down when the heat gets bad cause of the vaccum pressure. its driving me insane!

the kits are only like 400 though


i was pricing it on my datsun

i used the stock A/C on my first s-10.it was set up to run 22s.im not sure what the difference is between that and being b/d on 18s.but i think it would be fine.here is a pic.i can get more if you need em.
