a buddy of mine has a 1990 Mazda extended cab, that he is going to sell me for dirt cheap.what are some things i need to know/research to bag this truck, on 17s or 18s?and links/info would be awsome!and are they too difficult to body drop to the rockers?when layed out, does anything drag that isnt supposed to? oil pan, transmission crossmembers, gas tank?

anything need to be done to the front end to get rid of any dirty negative camber? a little is fine, but i dont want them to look like its broken ha.

this truck is pretty "rough" fenders are dented, plastics are cracking, bumper is half there ha.
i wont be picking up the truck for awhile though, leaving for boot camp in 2 months. just want something to work on when i come back on leave then drive it to whereever i get stationed

easy to bag on 18s. flip balljoint and that all for front. my exs truck would drag the iol pan drain plug and gas tank drain plug wen layed out. pretty much everything easy to do on it. u can keep factory ac and heat with a bodydrop to the rocker

thanks for the link.
and when flipping the ball joints, will i have to ream out the hole any, or raise upper control arm mounts? i know thats what they did on my 97 f150 i had bagged

It's the lower ball joint, and it not so much flipping as it is relocating. You grind off a hump on the lower control arm then move the ball joint from the underneath the control arm to on top of it.

Dawgs are probably one of the easist trucks to lay out. Ss far as anything hanging down, the only thing you really have to worry about is your gas tank and that is very easy to raise up. If you have any expereince with lowering trucks doing the dawg will be a breeze.

Whats the best way to raise the tank in the stock location on my 90 xcab? I have some of the new 17" chevy wheels for my mazda also. How can i put them on without gettin the bored out? What lugnuts should i use since the chevy ones have threads on the outside for the center caps??

I new to the mazdas, so thanks for the help!
