My friend is selling his for 8K with clean paint, bagged on 20s with an TPI swap. He's got like $20k in it. The market is way low right now.

Personally I wouldn't pay a dime for that red truck. But what you pay in the end would be completely your call.

I'm not saying buy my friends truck for 8K. I'm just saying compare that to this thing and think about it. The market is down right now. SO I would judge it by how clean the body and paint is, weather its bagged or not, interior cleanliness and how complete it is, and how fresh the motor is, and then gauge how much money you would have to put into it. At that point, ask yourself what its worth to you. If you would like to finish it for under $10k, consider that in your offer. And offer low if it is for sale, because its like any sale, they will try to get more. Like someone buying your truck trying to work you down.

Just my thoughts on the situation. Now seems to be the time to buy if you've got the money.

before you even offer, if it is bagged, or the frame is modified, i would ask what shop built it. I can name off about 10 shops i've seen come and go through fresno that were very hit or miss. Aside from that, Seth's advice is more on point, that body style is very easy to find if you really wanted a project truck. I'd probably go to a few tow yards first to see what your level playing field would be fore a body and frame at it's cheapest cost. Then do the math

rust is against you on this one as well. you might look under that truck and see a light show. cool looking truck though. i would offer him 2for the truck and 1500 for the rims.
