Specialty vehicle Insurance?

Cool, thanks guys. The only thing that sucks is I dont have receipts for alot of it cause I did it all my self. I have some recent receipts from the chrome and powdercoat guys.

When I had Country Wide they had me bring the Sentra out so they could look it over and take pics. All I had to supply was a detailed list of what was done to go along with the pics they took. They set the coverage at $25,000 and I was still in primer.

yeah, what about people who did the work themselves... about the only receipts i have are for my welder and gas and some misc. hardware. right now im with allstate and have fullcoverage on it but they dont know about everything ive done to it.

you need a "Stated Value Policy" I had an appraisal done for mine by a national certified appraisal firm "I.V.A.N." my insurance is american family/ not many companys do stated value and none of the internet based ones do it, ex; geico,progressive etc.

that saved my ass when my my truck was hit by an uninsured drunk driver last summer, $5K chevy truck appraised at $32,600 and my insurance is great, taking care of everything and my rate didnt change since i had no fault.

Progressive does. That's who I have now and I've already talked to my agent about a policy for the Sentra once I get it road worthy again.

new to me. when i called they said no...?
