stupid idea but would the chevy wheel studs go into the mazda hubs?

I thought about that and i guess i will check into that also. Just dont wanna spend a ton of cash on this because ill be doing a 5 lug swap in a year or so.

Drill out ththe hubs to fit chevy studs, it works better that way

A friend of mine has these on his mazda ! they look great! Machine out the center of the wheel,it should cost about 25 to 50 per wheel. He jus stuck his stock mazda chrome caps in the center. They really look brilliant on the mazda.

Got any pics of them on his truck? Im not really wanting to spend the money gettin the wheels bored out i would rather just grind the tabs on the hubs or get them machined (got a friend with a lathe). I think im gonna see about gettin the chevy lug studs and drilling my hubs so they fit.

All you gotta do is grind the tabs on the hubs and bolt em up the lugs are the same 12x1.5

Don't grind the tabs off. Wheels are hub centric for a reason.

I only got a couple more posts this month so ill probably be sending out some PM's. LoL

I was told as long as i get the correct lugnuts that i can grind the tabs on the hubs and it will be fine. How come people have done this before without any problems?

The chevy bolt patern is the same as the mazda you can do one of two things to get them to fit. Replace your mazda wheel studs with the chevy ones (this will allow you to use the chevy lug nuts) Have your hub turned down on a lathe to 3.76"(the size of the chevy hub) or bore out your wheels to 4.01 (the size of the mazda hub) both of these options will maintain the hub centric properties needed to keep it all safe.
