Im laying out my truck on 22's it now has 2 inch drop spindles but my question is what are you guys doing with the brake booster?? my wheel hits it right when its a inch from laying out.. If a hydro bosst will fix this problem, what year trucks can i use one off of?? my truck is a 4.3 vortec..

I've got 265/35/22s and it lays flat and still have about a half inch between tire and booster.

Buy the way I have the 4.8 dont think theres any dif. with booster.

I just flipped my upper control arms and that fixied my prob. now i have about 1\2 to 1 inch gap.

mine hits also. i have the same size tire.does it mean to remove the ball joint and flip it over,from top to bottom? anyone have a pic of this. i am pissed htat it does not lay.cause it layed hard on 20's

I'm not speeking for everyone but i flipped mine when i first layd it out on chassis tech spindles kept goin through upper ball joints.Threw them in the dumpster got bell tecs and strong arms never had a prob again.

Here is a picture. A buddy of mine told me how to do this. I just took the drop spindles and drilled out the upper ball joint hole to a 5/8 size and then take the right upper control arm and flip it over and put it on the left side running the ball joint through the bottom with the nut now on top. this pushes the spindle farther out when the truck is layed out. if you do this with drop spindle it will almost get rid of all negative camber you might have..

i wonder how it effects the ball joint? this is my daily and i dont want to be breaking ball joints. i ma y have to give it a try when i get my rack free

My ball joint is not in any kind of bind what so ever. this too is my daily driver but it hasnt made it back on the road yet. i dont think i will have any issues with it.
