It's not the 4door cab that we are talking about, everyone has seen those by now. The fact that there is a company out there producing a 89-95 4dr Toyota truck with the front end and interior of a newer 4runner is what is so exciting. The fact that they MAY be available in North America just makes it that much more bitchin'!

Yea the rear doors are shorter, and the cab has a bit of wheel arch in it. Funny thing is the rear doors on mine are stock length for the rear 4runner doors.

I def. would drive to Canada for one for 5G

Heres the deal, they did not buy the molds from toyota to reproduce them they are copying them, looks the same to me! The truck in the pics left yesterday, it was donated to an orphanage in south africa, he just got rid of 4 other trucks(some different models) in the past week . I talked with the sales rep for about 30 minutes. They bring the vehicle in to canada on a 1 year permit with no taxes and duty, then they have to export it or destroy it! that is were I am trying to come in, If I can "Destroy" it then I may be able to get my hands on some. He told me he could bring in more trucks but I need to do some work on finding out about the taxes and duty that may be due, shouldnt be any if it is destroyed! He also told me he should be able to get me parts, or I suggested a truck without engine and tranny ( it is a copy of an Isuzu 2.7L diesel) then the feds would think it was for parts or something. I am going to meet up with him one day and show him my truck and what we do and see what I can come up with. I will keep you posted! Later...
