so i was wondering what everybody is gona do wit there checks. i still havent decided if im gona spend it or pay my bills which i should do! LOL

Not to preach but Presidents and Congress ( which has been controlled by Dems for almost 2 years) have very little true control over the economy and almost no short term influence at all. It is driven by what the Market will support( ie what we are willing pay) and consumer expectations ( if we think the economy is good we spend which makes it good, if we think its bad we save which slows the economy down). If gas prices suck, stop buying. This sounds unreasonable but people can carpool to work, don't go anywhere you don't have to, buy a moped, etc... If we all did this prices would come down. Fact is most of us continue like we were and just complain. Just had to point that out.
