Tell tell signs......ECM.

start checking the fuses in the engine bay, when u diconnected it and then turned it on u may have blown the fuse, or worse, could have fried the ecm, if u do have a dmm and a wiring diagram, check for voltage coming out of it and the wires

or if u cant do that, do the old fashioned way or redneck way, start swapping parts till it works, BUT if u do swap the ecm, it still may not work since the new trucks have to be programmed.....

I would just grab a test light and start testing stuff. Start at the battery and go from there. Seems really weird NOTHING factory works......Makes me want to think its not the ecm......I mean windows, headlights, and im sure a bunch more stuff works without the ecm. ...

well to me.. It sounds like your missing power.. check the fuses and grounds... make sure there isnt a pos + wire missing from the battery. Check for power at the fuse box and after the fuses. usually if tghe ecm failes the engine wont fire, but your starter will work.

Crazy.....I tried to lay down and couldn't go to sleep thinking about it. I got up came and looked at this post and figured I would double check that. Low and behold there was another power wire underneath the battery tray.......Thank god. It's working now. Thanks for yalls help. It's stressful when your working on someone else's truck and something goes wrong. Now I can go to sleep.
