check your local scrap yards

its $120/ton here in vegas i just dropped off $114 worth of scrap couple weeks ago

Does anyone know the price of stainless right now?

forget metal ,copper is where a its at $2.85 lb here

scrap is 219 a ton here.

we are doing a job on a family friends ranch where a Nickle mine used to be. There are miles upon miles of 2inch steel tram cable laying around. We are contracted at $300/ton for prepared steel. We lop it in 3ft section and have it hauled off. I think we generate somewhere around 7k a day from this. I hope the price climbs for now!

You have to pay to get rid of shit most places here. I drive line 30 miles to the one place thats free to dump your metal. The dumps nearby will only take it if its separated into individual materials.

steel is 10 $ per 100lbs copper is right at 4$ a lbs

140/ton here for scrap cars. thats with tires at the place thats basically a middle man to the actual crusher place. we're makin bank hauling in old beater cars and stuff. transmission aluminum (lots of fluids and steel, so really dirty) is 185 a ton like a year ago.

theres a holding yard next to the one of the scrap yards in south phoenix and they have a tandem axle reg cab mazda with 6 Z71's and a 1/4 sleeper shell on it and painted yellow. it looks fairly decent from where I can see it from, granted its on sign poles 15 feet up n the air, but it still looks good. LOL
