seal sealer/body filler or weld it

If you do just fill it the filler will shrink over time and you will be able to see every tack! I'd just weld it solid.

really because im pretty sure thats one of the main reasons things crack when they are welded and mudded over...because there not fully welded...seems like u already know what u want to do so why even ask the question?

i see many filler plates get tacked in the mudded over and never crack and thos are but welds this is tacked of a 1/4 gap with 3/4 over lap on each side sorry but it s not gonna crack

hes right, its a few more hours worth of work, but better than re-doing it.

if your not ever gonna listen to peoples advice why even ask for it?

I would weld it and metal finish it. Fuck bondo on your bed floor.

it will definatly crack, bondo isnt a magical putty that bonds metal.

always try to use as little filler as possible
