help wiring electric windows

i need help wiring up some electric windows. the colorado had crank windows and the previous owner put in electric windows but didnt put them to switches.

now i have two wires coming out of each motor. one is the up wire and one is the down wire. and i also have one POWER wire. if i touch the power wire to the up wire comin out of the window motor and then ground the down wire to a bolt on the seat the window goes down. now the question is how would i wire this up to a switch or where could i find a switch that will do what i need it to do.

you need a three position switch the power will go to the hot side of the switch and the others will go to the switch leg sides. you can get switchs like that at almost any parts store

but the up will only work if the down is grounded out while the up has power. and the same the other way around.

you can use relays but i would buy a switch kit from a company. Spal makes them

you need a five wire switch to make it work right. the switch itself reverses the power and ground. look at auto-loc's web site

i looked on their site but couldnt find the switch i needed. anyone got a link to the switch.

Here you go you need two relays per window and this is wiring for using the windows w/o the key on. I had do to it to mine b/c I got different door panels. You just use a normal rocker switch like on the switch boxes w/ an up and down. This is the wiring for one side...

Relay1

UP:
PIN 87 = Constant 12 Volts ( + )
PIN 87a = GROUND
PIN 30 = BLACK wire from Power Window Motor
PIN 85 = Negative Input from UP Pin on Switch
PIN 86 = Constant 12 volt ( + )

Relay 2

DOWN:
PIN 87 = Constant 12 Volts ( + )
PIN 87a = GROUND
PIN 30 = BLACK wire from Power Window Motor
PIN 85 = Negative Input from DOWN Pin on Switch
PIN 86 = Constant 12 volt ( + )
