unsafe veh...

i got a non correctable unsafe veh. ticket

i already got a court date.

what are they gonna sayhas anyone tryed to fight it and if so what happened?

i think all they can say is dont drive it on the street. if they try taking it say its a show vehicle or something. sucks man.

I got a ticket with a court date in pismo for VC24002. He officially said it was because i was adjusting my suspension while driving. My record is clean so i just payed $210 and I have to take traffic school.

as far as i have ever heard is as long as the lowest part of your vehicle is not lower than the lowest part of your rim you are fine. reading on custom tacos a dude put spacers in to raise the suspension up 3 inches so that nothing would hang lower and was able to get is signed off....

It is unlawful to operate any passenger vehicle, or commercial vehicle under 6,000 pounds, which has been modified from the original design so that any portion of the vehicle, other than the wheels, has less clearance from the surface of a level roadway than the clearance between the roadway and the lowermost portion of any rim of any wheel in contact with the roadway.

Depends what the unsafe vehicle is for. Are there additional violations on the ticket?

I've gotten one in my toyota and one in my old s-10.

In my s-10 it was to low then 5 other violations. He stopped at 5 because he didn't have time to tow it. In court just pled to the fix its and the judge dropped the unsafe.

In the toy it was for having airbags. In court the "officer at the time" lost. The judge stated"Having Airbags (even hydraulics) is not illegal. It's the function of the system"

All lincolns, most caddies, semi's, handicapped vans have bags. And the vans were not from the factory they are outfitted by an outside company.

If he wrote you up for usage then you may be hosed. But if its just having bags then there is a chance.
