When I got my ticket for that back in 2000 or so the judge told me I had to come back with proof of correction, proof of sale, or proof that I scrapped my truck.

Proof of correction meant putting it back to stock and having the CHP inspect it, screw that.

I was actually planning on selling it anyway, so I just sold it and brought in copies of the dmv paperwork.

I guess you could always "sell" it to a friend, get the violation taken care of, then "buy" it back without cash actually changing hands. They don't follow up on it afterwards, so they wouldn't realize you bought it back.

Good luck!

a guy on MT got nabbed for riding too low, he even published it in his column....he's in here with the flat blue and shiny blue flame taco

check your local law or even talk to a cop.. some of em are actuall cool. I'm lucky to have a DPS officer as a neighbor that I can pick his brain about laws that could screw me

you could put a cone style bump stop in there at each corner and then set it to where it meets the bumper/light/clearance law. then just run them up after its checked so its back to normal. then if you have to loan it to somebody or work on it, or tow it or something you can keep it to a certain height. i plan to do that concept on my stuff .
