different! taillights

doin something different i looked into getting leds and also the cadillac taillights they all look clean but EVERYONE HAS THEM just trying to think outside the box tell me what you think :eek:

uhhh its ok.... i understand you wanna be different but maybe you should find a tail that flows a little better with the body lines. what kind of tails are they?

the truck is chopped about 3 inches and im going for a hot rod theme they stick out like fins a little

If you just throw em in there with no bodywork to the bed to help them flow better, they'd look okay.

The back looks like it fits fine, but the side, you could make a 6" or so long bodyline in front of the light. Obviously the same concavity of the side of the light...even a little 3" bodyline would help it flow.

If you just did that little bit of bodywork, i think they'd look fuckin sick

I'm gonna agree with Tyler. I think with some creative bodyline and contour makin, not only would those lights look good, but you would create even more of a one of kind truck. I would recommend getting a doner bed and mocking it up there rather than in your bed. It looks like you already measured wrong and cut the hole to big where its covered with tape. Unfortunately, that mistake probably made an extra 4 or 5 hours of metal and bodywork for yourself. I say keep going. What are those lights out of anyway?

if i were you i would make it look more hot rod style by putting them ontop of the bedrails. so it looks like fins....

You don't see those everyday. I like them. With the right body work they would be killer

i like the body line idea, but the side doesnt taper like the back does and they are not a perfect 90 degree bent so there would be a kind of "kink" look to them. There off of a 1957 mercury turnpike i dont like fords that much but these are just killer looking lights if you look on ebay under "turnpike tail" you can see better pics of the lights
