you can kind of see what im talking about in the 1st and 2nd picture. it is straight with the tailgate and as it goes around the corner it tapers into the bedside so there would be a kink with the body line, and i dont want to recess them in on the tailgate to make it flow with the bedside i think that would look funnier

points for thinkin outside the box but i dont care for them much to tell you the truth. maybe if you did what these guys are suggesting id like it, i dunno. as of now, not my style.

i like the idea and the taillights. just not sure about the location/fitment. they look like they are falling off... maybe try them in several locations or frenching them in somewhere. id try to fit them in the lower body line somewhere. it looks as if the light on the left side might fit the right side if it were flipped over. so, try flipping it over and checking fitment on the passengers side...

actually it is the right side light on the left side, but with the way that they are shaped it would be pointing down instead of up and i wanted them up

being honest on this they do not go with the truck, it does not matter how much you chop a newer truck, give it a hotrod theme, I just can't see the hotrod style theme in the mini world. Is that not the reason that we created minitruckin so that we had our own style. I think that everyone is so busy trying to find what someone has not done. If it is your taste bro do it cause it won't matter but asking everyone on here you will be thrown all over the boards. My 2 cents
