the paint is valspar semi-gloss implement paint from tractor supply company. i read for months about john deere blitz black enamel vs other options. tsc didn't have blitz black but they had the valspar stuff(valspar actually makes blitz black too).i sprayed a light coat,waited 10 minutes,then sprayed a wet coat.i let it dry for three days and wetsanded with 500 grit.i then sprayed a light coat and let it cure for three days. i used harbor freight $9.00 sprayguns.i didn't even clean them...just threw them away.it came out great with no streaking issues. i have less than $100 into the paint/supplies.

Nice truck, the chrome bumper and polished lip on the wheels keep the truck from being too dark.

Man that is hella sweet! One of my favorite trucks, I think it would look sic with round headlights behind the grill.
