I went to a suspension guy finally and got the verdict. Thanks Twisted for the hookup. It needs a rebag.Lots of substandard work. More in labor than parts.Dont wanna sell but cant afford $1000 arms so Im gonna need any info and pics on how you guys are making it happen without them. So while I am saving up if someone wants to meet my price oh well.

whats wrong with your a-arms?

I really dont want to sell it but I wont turn down 15k. The uppers have weird c notches for wheel clearance. Kinda scary looking. Shoot me a cell # and I will send pics.

does it have 3/4 ton hubs in the front?
rick ross   +1y
yeah it does. Where is the best place to order arms that can be extended?

hey rick I drive by your truck everday now for work, what are you doing leaving it outside?

to find some stock a-arms. you could try ebay. or your local pull a part....

IMHO - i would put dually hubs back on and shorten some stock dually a-arms a couple inches. ( i think lock shortens them 1-1/2 inches..)
this would "push" the wheels back out and get the wheels away from the a-arms .

or..... you could buy some top arms and lengthen them out a couple inches and keep the 3/4 ton hubs..
:edit: you would also have to lengthen the lower arms as well...

here is a pic of his top a-arms. the previous owner cut big pieces out of the sides so the wheels wouldn't hit the arms.....

... after a quick search on ebay. this truck is supposed to have some tubular top control arms from the factory.

looks like they used all the parts off a older squarbody 3/4 ton truck. (hubs and the top control arms)...ive never seen anybody do it like that before...

Yeah I found tubular ones online and it took a second to figure out what the hell was going on. This truck has a lot of little weird things going on. Hey Diabolik I dont have anywhere to put it right now. My buddy has a pole barn I can use but it is 3 hours away north. Plus I am trying to sell ah put in the shop ah trade ah fix ah. Hahahahaha
