We're bagging my lightning as we speak, and as i said in another thread the tire is bumping the brakebooster fully laid out, a guy mentioned using a explorer brakebooster? any one else ever done this? if so what year explorer and how did it work out for you? thanks
I used a 1998 explorer booster on a sfbd 2000 f-150, and worked grrrrrr8. If you haven't had any trouble with the upper control arm yet you prolly will. VERY easy to modify..

what happens with the UCA'? i'm running DJM UCA and LCA's. i just bought a 99 Explorer booster out of a eddie baur 5.0 for 30 bucks, so hope to have it on next week.
im pretty sure its based on vacuum, i didnt notice much but i had a longbed w/ the 4.2L sfbd. stopped just fine after the bodydrop and everything - depends on how you drive, if your floring it from light to light you may wanna go bigger???? i dunno
with these gas prices def. not flooring it any more, i think it will be find, power brakes is a luxury anyways, they didnt have em back in the day, so if i gotta push a lil harder to look good so be it.
