NEED help buying a bagged truck

This saturday im going out to look at a 97 isuzu extended cab.. Its being sold by a dealer who doesnt seem to know anythin about it..

First i want to know if its a good deal

97 Isuzu 5 speed extended cab
full air ride... (has buttons according to the dealer lol)
18" wheels
112k miles

i dont know much at all untill saturday Im going to snap a bunch of pics

What do i need to look for when i go look at it?

He wants 2250 for it with a clean title

just look very careful at the suspension. check for defaulty parts on it and bad welding. cracked welds and such. good luck on the buy.

its worth it for parts, IMO, so I'd buy it regardless.

But just check the welding on the notch and 4 link, although it can be tough at a dealership, and dirty frame.

Just treat it like any car I'd say.....beat on it during the test drive, and it it makes it back, it'll be allright.

I agree...& make sure that the engine & tranny are good as well! See if the guy will let you have it check out or he might even have it looked at for you.

The guy im buying it from is a wholesale guy he buys cars jacks up the price and sells them.. This one has been posted for a while and he said the only people looking at it dont want air ride... he said he bought it in Tacoma and drove it to portland which is a couple hour drive.. Im looking for a daily driver and 2250 sound like a steal
