Several steps to acquire a dually with rhd from australia. 1) Loacate reputible shop or buddy willing to do some work for ya or plan a week long working trip to Australia.2) Locate and purchase truck with said help. May be able to locate salvage yard that would be willing to work but the ten or so that I have contacted laughed and hung up.3) Purchase required lumber with proper markings and materials to make US customs happy. Will have to look up on line or find a nice customs broker that may be able to assist not only with the shipping but with the proper crating materials.4) Totaly disassemble the truck. Basically stripping the truck down to a bare cab with a full interior. No frame, no chasis, and no motor. Throw the rhd equipment and brackets in the backseat floor board. Why not your paying for a large shipping anyways.5) Carefully and securely crate the cab so that you basically have a cab in a box. Again refer to step 3 so that you don't get you truck impounded at customs over using the wrong type of wood for the crate.6) Get the crate to be delivered to the desired port of call in Australia. This is where your part is almost done. The next stuff all requires the help of cash and a kool customs broker that is willing to assist you and not brush you off like some punk. 7) Your customs broker will have all of the shipping documents ready so that once you deliver your crate it can be loaded on the ship and sent to the US. They should have everything else set so that you can now either pay said friends or shop for thier help or catch a flight back to the US and get some rest cause you just busted your ass in the past week. Wait several weeks to get the call that your package has been approved by customs and is ready for delivery/ pick up. This is where if you are close you can go get it or have a trusty ABF or Conway or whom ever pick it up and deliver to your location.9) Crack open a cold beer or ten and celebrate cause it is delivery day and you are now quite possibly the only true owner of a rhd dually mazda B/ford Courier in the US.

Well that is my 8 simple steps that provided I had $10,000 to spend would have been done already. I have the name and number to a broker in WA state that was helping me get all the details and willing to help. I have one individual (either on here or Mazdabscene) that I am supposed to send this info to but I keep forgeting. If I remember next time I am in the office I will post it up.Thank you and good luck...for those of you who acquire said truck....you suck you bastard!!!! LOL

when i was in australia recently, the guys from living low customs said they could fill up a container full of quad cabs, including toyota, mazda, nissan, or mits. but it would only be worth to export them if somebody was willing to buy a whole container full of complete cabs. otherwise the cost is too steep. but a whole container full wouldnt be a problem. They said the same thing with dashes. they can send right hand drive dashes to the states no problem if somebody would buy an entire shipping container full.

Mat the president of No Regrets New Zealand actually owns a shipping container company. He told me that building an entire truck for me and shipping it wouldnt be a problem. Ive considered it in the past but i currently have too many projects to take on a quad cab right now. but at least i know its possible, so the future is looking bright.

This would be the smartest bet , go in with a few people or do it as an investment to sell . Toss in all kinds of things to get full container , Each cab could be filled with numerous OE/aftermarket parts they do not sell in United States for these minis .
