Nothing wrong with SHARING the responsibility and free time, (though I still get bitched at for spending 4 hours washing and polishing my DD every few weeks) but if she isn't interested, then she isn't interested.
And I seriously doubt he will be interested in her stuff either...
Nothing wrong with having different interests, though it is nice if you can find a couple of things you both like to spend time together as well (ncis, f1, movies in our case, and I like cars and electronics, and she likes reality tv which I detest.)
And it sounds like her idea of his proper behavior is to spend whatever free time he has doing what she wants or watching the baby so she can. being a stay at home parent is tough... and it really wears on you... I know I am one now.
