I just had to check the link to make sure it was not my wife.

that was probable my wife but we have 2 kids. sounds like something she would say to someone but all i hear is nag nag nag. lol wives, they just dont understand. but just thing if you had a girl that built trucks too but all she did was yell at you for not buying all her stuff instead of yours. which would be worse. just something to think about

i'm guessing it has to do with the baby. my wife was the perfect shop girl about 8 years ago. hell, i taught her how to paint (she never really liked bodywork though) & she even started to weld a little. she'd spend all night out in the shop just to be with me...and then..."i'm pregnant" (twice)...& you all know the rest of that movie

Nothing wrong with SHARING the responsibility and free time, (though I still get bitched at for spending 4 hours washing and polishing my DD every few weeks) but if she isn't interested, then she isn't interested.

And I seriously doubt he will be interested in her stuff either...

Nothing wrong with having different interests, though it is nice if you can find a couple of things you both like to spend time together as well (ncis, f1, movies in our case, and I like cars and electronics, and she likes reality tv which I detest.)

And it sounds like her idea of his proper behavior is to spend whatever free time he has doing what she wants or watching the baby so she can. being a stay at home parent is tough... and it really wears on you... I know I am one now.
