Help with my Hoe

Hey, I just got a 95 2-door Tahoe on 22's and the only problem I have is the passenger side door handle has to be opened from the outside...when you pull the handle inside...you can here the opening mechanism trying to open, but it won't! Is this an easy fix or is it a pain in the butt? Help please! I'm new to the truck seen! lol

Ha ha you are half way to the typical chevy problem, one door doesn't open, and the other one doesn't shut.

pull the door handle panel off and take a look. I know in order to get the outside handle off you have to remove the three hexhead bolts on the latch.

the outside handle works and the inside handle works...or at least feels like it does and it sounds like its unlatching...but it doesn't...I have to roll down the window and open it! lol it sucks! lol

Take the door panel off and see why its not working.

my truck was doing the same thing so im in the process of fixing it.... suicide doors

better try and fix it soon...my 98 tahoe did that one or two times and then the whole latch assembly fucked up and would not open form the inside or out side no matter what. I had to take it to a body shop and have them go through the back door and torch off the striker to allow the door to open and then replace the latch and all the door lock rods because they were bent from tryn to open the door when it was broken.

yikes! lol That sounds super crappy! I'm gonna look at it in the morning! The guy said that the drivers door handle actually broke of from the inside...but he said that he thought that this one had just slipped somewhere. So hopefully its an easy fix.

easy fix the inside door handle is wore out mine would take the handle all the way pull out to open so i changed it with a new one and bam works perfect
