yes you can do it. dubrocker on here had one done on 20's a couple of years ago with factory a/c

i jus did an 04 frontier stock floored and no issues keepinthe a/c , and ive done a 96 hardbody taditional and kept the a/c and heat , jus a few moidfications to the box an itll work jus take your time an only cut what you have to , ive had no probs doin it, easier with that the sock floor tho both wer laid on 20s , hope that helps
