Tennesse

Me and the soon to be wife might be movin to middle TN. I just want a little info on the laws of bringing in a mini and if people accept them in the east. I already googled all the shows around there and it seems like a good place to live since it seems to be in the middle of all the east coast shows. so if you have any opinions/suggestions/comments/do's or donts it would be greatly appreciated.

hit me up dude. im in middle tennessee. (hendersonville, its about 15 mins north of metro nashville)

ive lived here all my life. there really isnt a "minitruck scene" here. lots of shit close by but not here. nashville area is mostly turbo diesels, donks and 24 inched suvs. even the ricer scene has dried up.

anyway, when are you guys moving and where specifically?

i live in gallatin.about 25 mins from nashville.its a decent place to live,guess it depends on where you are comin from tho.not alot of minis around here so the police dont really bother them much.what town are you moving to?

yea theres prob alot more scene east of u around knoxville bout 2 to 3 hours away

^ kelly lives about 10 mins north of me. Gallatin and Hendersonville are in the same county (Sumner).

She had lived there before and i've only visited once. Um well she suggested we live in arrington,smyma,hendersonville,gallatin or white house her dads got a rental house there. I'm not worried about a weekly scene im almost thirty with 2 kids so all i do is work play with my kiddies and work on truck. I try to make as many shows as possible out here on the west side. Also were coming there for a wedding. gonna be there oct. 1st to 7th also to look to see where we wanna live

id say mid tenn is a fair sized "minitruck" market. there's plenty out and about, just not as social as some. several major clubs are in the area as well...

number one big no no round here is improper tag display. has to be in the VERY back and square with the ground. there is a bumper law, cant remember the specs. but if you get decent lift you can pass it.
of course draggin and hittin switches will get ya fried but as long as you dont start anything, your usually fine.

i would advise avoidin lavergne/ symnra area and also lakewood/ old hickory!!! know of several people's trucks impounded there. ive been stopped there for being to low as well.

white house is too country imo. its kinda off the beaten path and considering gas prices - no thanks!

ive been here in hendersonville since i was 10. im now 34. schools are great!

smyrna is ok but there again, the commute into nashville sucks ass from there and that place is a bit too tijuana for me.

personally, im partial to h'veags. its one of the few sides of town that the kids are safe anywhere they go with their friends, its growing leaps and bounds, schools are very nice, etc. some of my friends say its snooty. most of the population drive bms, benz, and even a ferrari or two.

Mt Juliet is nice.. school system is bullshit with their churchy attitude and uniforms though!

and about the kids- i have a 14 yr old son, 6 year old daughter and a 7 month old son. so i feel ya on that note!

hit up "sirbodydragger"/JT, "LostCause"/Brian and "Fe02"/Tony on here as well - they live close by. "Catfish"/Andrew, the prez of severed ties tn lives in/around Smyrna. i cant rememeber his screenname though.

dude i live in rivergate which is about 2 minutes before hendersonville sumner county r dicks about everything unless u look stock but the scene is actually huge just nobody comes out or nobody knows each other there are alot of back yard projects here that stay concealed but man if u get out and cruize u will be found only thing the police really mess with is cocked license plates and draggin other than that i havnt been pulled over in none of mine for actual car related stuff in probably 3 years
