thats gunna be a bitch seth, cuz the yota frame has thise hump with the vin or some sort of code on it. ill do the best i can. i "picked up" some 1/8 plate enough to do the whole thing yesterday, so hopefully i can get it done tomorrow early enough to double check everything.

I'm aware of this hump. I worked around it on the opposite side of that frame. You can form the plate over it slightly, or you can cut that section out so there is no hump and plate it that way. Its all doable.

that was my thought, either cut that area of the frame or the plate.either way would work i guess, but the plate would give that much more area to set a weld down on.

What I was thinking, was cut out the hump, and set in a piece of 1/8" and weld it in flush. Then plate over it like normal.

hey buddy. fuck you! im workin so i can try to pay for this stuff try....

i plan to weld on some 1/8 tonight and cut it (the frame) as i go in to call it a night. so it will be ready for me in the morning. just gotta tune in the welder and ill be golden. its almost there, just gotta try vertical up, instead of down.
