^^^^Yep ,..I have the sign now And first off let me tell you that stripping off the original paint sucked donkey balls  First I used a little solvent to remove the majority of the paint from the inside of the sign........Then I had to sand away the rest,........Next I created a stainless steal finish on the inside of the sign to great more depth between the logo and the back round

This is what it looks like lit up......Next I laid down a grip of tape and drew the logo free handThen I cut out the "blue" portion of the logoThen I sprayed it with a transparent white  base coatThen I mixed up a little blue kandy  That match the  the rendering,.....And sprayed three coats over the transparent white over the white  Tomorrow  l"ll spray the wheels, windows and letters,....And then pinstripe everything

That's awesome! You should get a vinyl plotter so you could save a lot of time!   FYI your rims are turned in different directions from his original logo.   Nah just giving you a hard time! I really like the brushed look

Today I decided to add a little HOK blue berry pearl to make the blue pop,...    Next I untaped the letters..........     Then I cut out teh wheels and back masked the letters......     Next I sprayed a super metallic silver over the BYD and teh wheels      Then I started to give the wheels a "chrome" look     Coming to life with some shading......      Now it just needs some white to complete the effect      Before I changed to teh white,...I gave the letters a horizin line.........       And the white always brings things to life!!      Next I cut out the back round behind the wheels      And the back masked teh wheel to spray the back round black     BLACK        Then the rim was back masked to spray the tire,.....     Black tire,........      Next I taped reverse taped  the hoirzen line to spray the white glare thats in the rendering      After the white was sprayed I finished the day off with the windows......    All the painting is done (for teh most part) ready to be untaped!      And finally untaped,...ready to be pinstriped,...highlighted,...shaded,...and clear coated

I know he wants to hang this outside but I would suggest keeping it indoors locked up in a glass cabinet Nice work as always!!!! Great detail!!!

Fantastic work, and I think re-using the Ford sign is an awesome idea, but I'm not a fan of the original logo. It's gonna be impossible to make out the amazing detail in the rims etc. from more than 10 feet away...     : /
