Do you have any better pics before you painted your arms? Curious on how you did it without moving the center of the balljoint toward the front or rear of the truck. Just adding 3" to the arms would move the center of the wheel back in the wheel opening. Causing even more firewall clearance issues. I have thought about building mine to actually move the wheel forward a touch to center them in the opening. Havent paid attention to others but mine have never been centered from day one

Problem is......... since the arms are not parallel to the frame, but on a slight rake which adds caster to the front suspension without doing anything. If you center it at full lift, as the ride height is dropped, the hub centerline moves aft. You could have it aligned in the center at full drop. But when you lift it, the hub center line will be forward of center in the wheel well. Tomorrow I am extending the drivers side and I will take pics of the arm outside the truck after I finish TIG welding it. I made a jig that keeps the balljoint in it's same location to the wheel well set for my normal ride height. I could adjust the balljoints location more forward but at one point in the travel of suspension the wheel will not be centered unless the attaching points for both a-arms, relocated to be parallel with the frame.

Rick Ross I'll PM you.

bk2life, I tried direct link and email & IM. The other options are IMG Code which is what I used in the first post and the only one I didn't try is HTML Code? Can you see any of these? If not I will shrink the pics down to the maximum 256 KiB and post them that way.
