Can it be done?

We're looking into having an Expedition extended to use for limo purposes..I wont get into the whole idea but heres the part I need help/info on..

I know I'll need 2 trucks..1 for parts/frame..Heres what Im not certain on..We'll want a solid mid section (between front and back doors)..Keeping both doors useable..How would be get the solid mid section? As there are no solid areas on the expo except for the section after the back door..

Sorry if I sound like a noob..Just the more I think about it the more I think it may not be possible, but they have all types of limo suv's out there so I dont see why it cant be done..

Very Possible. Expo limos are pretty common in most big cities.(come on your in SD) You could probably find a nice Navi limo on Ebay way cheaper than it would cost to build your own expo. shit, Probably even a nice escalade limo.

I havent seen any Expo limos, only the Navis and Excursions usually..

Theres a reason we want an Expo tho..Plus I want to have it not soo long..

I'll check Ebay tho and see what I can find, didnt even think about that..

Yes it would be better to just buy one limo are built using Inhouse sheet metal stamps so there all custom made sheet metal.

Good luck on your build either way. If I had the money I'd bodydrop a super strech.Car,truck,SUV, And yes especially a fuckin dually limo.There kinda rare but there def. out there

the companies that make limos have those center sections custom made, I dunno where but I remember seeing them build one on TV. All they did was cut the car/truck between the doors, extend it and bolt on the custom siding.(I think it was fiberglass for the ones I saw.)

why would you need 2??

yuo would just cut between the front door and back door and stretch it there.

I have stretched a chevy dually, Mazda B series and worked on Hummers, and most recently a brand new Mercedes armored limo.

hit me up about any questions you have. its not hard to stretch anything. the hardest part is getting it straight.

you name the limo and more than likely ive seen it driving around here in vegas.... navi, eski, expo, dually, the dually was pimp.

i work at a limo manufacturer, Krystal Koach. we've made a few Expos but mostly Navigators for some reason, but it's the same shit right? we make a 72" and 140". the mid section in between front/rear doors is fiberglass.
