Thanx for the info everyone..

As for having 2 I figured I would need an additional for the extra framing for the extension, but guess I wrong! ..

Ok so heres the idea, and why I need an Expo..

Im looking to build a "prerunner" limo..The Expo is the easiest for building a front and rear end, other than an Explorer which is too small..Excursions are cool but way too heavy for what I need, as well as Navis..Im not looking for anything crazy long, around a 6 seater and mini bar..

No thats a lifted truck..Im talking more prerunner status..An actual L/T kit..

A Navigator is based on the same chassis and basic body as the Expo. So the weight is very close to the same.

front suspension isnt any different between the Nav and Expedition?

I believe the only difference is the sheetmetal and the interior is a little different here and there

hmmm...so the only issue would be to have custom front fiberglass flares made for the Navi then..

you could save money buy a navi limo then put the front end of an expo on there

Pre-runners are 2wd and usually higher in the front. The lifted 4x4 trucks usually have a lot less suspension travel, thats why they use 2x4 trucks. Usually desert racing style. Not really sure why you would want a 20+ long, 9k lb pre-runner, but to each his own.
