bro, you live in baytown, there has to be someone down there with a chop saw that will let you make a couple cuts real quick. haha. but if you are looking at buying one, check craigslist. i bought my dewalt from lowes and i use it all the time. it's tits! sounds like the saw you are looking at for 50 bucks would work.

When you go pick up the metal why dont you just have them cut it to your length? =) Then you dont need to worry about it

I don't know about where you are, but here they charge for each cut. It gets pricey pretty quick.

Go to Northern Tool........i have one of their chop saws.....works great for light duty use. Def wouldnt reccomend for shops or guys who do tons of fab work. But for minimal use it works great. I think i paid $75 for it check northern tools website.

cool man, that was probably beau. he works out of a storage unit down there. it was either him, clint, or ricky. but hit him up man. beau will do it for nothing man. if he gives you any shit tell him i sent you. haha. if you are really only going to use it just for this than really hit him up man. he will take care of you and it won't cost you a dime, probably a couple beers though. haha. later.
