i think evercoat makes zgrip? maybe

keef, do you sand the epoxy at all before you do the bodywork over it? i've never tried to lay anything but spot putty over primer before, does it help keep the rust away? i always thought the plastic would separate from the metal if it was over anything.

also, can you spray the featherfill over metal without an etching primer?

Evercoat slicksand is pretty good stuff at around $60 a gallon for building up a large area. Sprays nice, but I always had to reduce it around 10% to make it flow since it's soo thick and it's sandable in 2 hours. I use Sherwin Williams NP-75 for final bodywork and sealing bare metal and it's held its gloss for almost 2 years now.

Not a fan of those featherfill primer sprays . You really should never need to use those to get ready for paint . I sometimes Etch then 2k prime , but majority of the time I will Epoxy ,bodywork, 2k , block , paint .
