New Metallica thoughts??

Just wondering some thoughts on the new metallica. Parts of the The Day That Never Comes song, you can kinda hear old school metallica but still very dissapointing to me.

I've only listened to it twice and I liked it.......sounds like a mix of old and new......I'm interested to hear the rest of the album

I like it, but it didn't hit me at first the more I listened to it the more I liked it. Same with the other song they just released on Metallica.com My Apocalypse, I didn't fall in love with it the first time I heard it either, but both songs have grown on me and they are both shitloads better than St. Anger. I hope there are some songs on the CD that just kick ass and I love from the first time I hear them.

i think there just stuck sounds like they should call it "reload the lightning". the first time i heard the song i totaly seen it comin all the way to threw the damb guitar solo. they trie to hard to sound like what they allready done and need to do some drugs or somthin to get back on there wagon! its all right but they will never beat killem all or the black album

i like it.....but again its not the "metallica" we all have known in the past..... metailica was the shit when they were doped up and drunk all the time and they will never be back in the same musical stand-point again but at least it aint another " st. anger" deal

I like it. I was listening to the album preview on the radio today. It sounds like Black Album stuff to me.
