minitruckins were so good before courtney was the editor. then when he bacame a editor to it (the main one) they got that much better. im got get blasted proably for saying that but you never did see the same thing over and over that much. you actually seen stuff featured that didnt even have show pictures of the same truck. now its just the same thing over and over.

Sounds like some one painted their poop 14 different colors...

lol, seriously tho, I doubt he will have anything negative to say publicly. Fuck, AIM pays their bills, aslong as they keep forking the money out to all these mags, they will take it im sure, MT is no different.

It sucks seeing 14 pages of Adds from any company, because as a consumer i want to see more features and show coverage, and less adds, but theres not much you can do about it i suppose.

I agree on the mags paying bills but when the ads start to take away from the appeal of the magazine then they cost revenue and at some point are not worth it. If most people that have a subscription cancelled and no one bought it on the stand and let it be well know that it was just because of the shAIM ads they would drop em. Recently in several mags a "male enhancment" product was advertised and when lots of people wrote in complaining they dropped the ad. We could do the same if we all were willing to stick together. I currently buy minitruckin' every month and have since Mike took over and have every issue of ST since the beginning and the last thing I wanna see is them gone. I just think if we were willing we could put old Joe out on his A**.

Jay,as good as that sounds the reality is that the internet only represents a small fraction of people purchasing parts.Hell just the pages he ran this month probably cost more than all the people on this forum have spent this year.The funny part is he started a fight with people who didn't buy his parts in the first place.What he was actually feeling was the downslide in the economy and that is what will be his downfall.Either way works for me.

Mike is a smart guy and he's not gona get on this site or any other and talk bad about someone who pays his bills. Honestly if AIM wants to pay for the ads, the magazine is going to run them. you have to remember MiniTruckin Mag is a business as well and teh advertisers pay a lot of the bills. Now if you were to get him over to the side he may tell you different but that would be between the two of you.

All his adds that bad mouth other companies is also another reason that I will NEVER purchase anything from any of those companies. It really shows the kind of character that the companies have. Bad mouthing other companies to get some business, how childish! The adds annoy the hell out of me how they constantly talk about how they have been in the same location for x amount of years and how customers aren't stupid and how everyone else steals they ideas, GROWN UP!

In every magazine,there are a certain amount of pages alloted for ads,and the other for the mags content.If there are 20 pages of ads allotted each issue,then once their filled,that's it.A new advertiser has to wait for space to become available.Just skip through what you don't like.Don't take it out on MT.

I just use the razor blade and make MT a little thinner, makes for a better bathroom read that way
