What is funny is that me and a few others were the ones that were originally going to Sportruck.com chat to try to tell the regulars there (I was one too)that there was a cool new place to chat where you could get more than 10 people in at a time. It actually took a few months of trying to get those people here, but I think the site turned out to be bigger than any of us ever expected. But....even before Sportruck.com chat, how many went to Talk City Lowrider chat or Lowrider.com chat? That was back in the day.

When SSM first started it was only the magazine (the home page of SSM was just the cover of the magazine). First issue came out in may 2000. But the site existed in april 2000. Our first show we covered as "SSM" was west coast nats (StreetSCENEmag.com at the time)

The reason MY account says 3/8/2000 is because before SSM started, i was webmaster for the RA website and built a chatroom (similar to the one we use today) on the RA site. When we started SSM i moved the chatroom and a few other cool things off of the RA site.

Truth is, one of the main reasons SSM exists today is because we were "doing to much" on the RA website and many RA members said that alot of the stuff we were doing on the RA site was not needed on a club site.

Technically it should be Kris. But I've seen one person say Jan 2000.
