There was three of us that actually witnessed Roy fall, Jason "J.J." Stewart (won Relaxed So-Cals skateboard), his wife, Gayle, and myself.

The golf cart was not lifted and really it was a slip up more-or-less. The guys riding up front didn't realize Roy fell off until they were almost all the way to us (I was shooting J.J.'s truck with his wife when all of this happened).

I have been most concerned about this because they were coming over to the shoot because I had a good lookin' woman (Gayle) posing on a truck... you know how that goes at a show once women start posing on rides. Anyway, once they made that turn in the back of the show grounds (near the rodeo arena)... Roy fell off. He hit VERY hard and at first I thought, "My God I just witnessed someone break his neck!"

Fortunately, once we got over to Roy, he was breathing... he was out cold and actually snoring like he was sleeping. Then he started coughing and choking and a little blood came out of his nose... he woke up-- somewhat--- and began to struggle with a few guys-- Roy wanted to sit up. We were instructed by 911 to make sure he did not move because we were not sure what damage was done to his head, neck, back, etc.

A few people came back there like Jerry and Bill-- and a few others. After a few minutes of struggling with Roy, the paramedics finally loaded him up and he was off.

Ever since then he has remained on my mind and in my prayers... especially when I was told that Roy had been going thru some hard times.

I will PayPal some money to you guys tonight and please keep me posted on his recovery for I am very concerned with his well being.

Sorry about the long post, but I just wanted to fill everyone in.
