You need ATLEAST a 31mm offset (escalade wheels) for a wheel that is said to be 17x8 (escalade wheels). navigator 18's which are not the same bolt pattern but can be redrilled by any machine shop are a stated 18x8 but have a 44mm offset. The escalade wheels i have on my truck now BARELY tuck with a 2.5 inch BD. The navigator wheels i used to have tucked nicely. Everything that was said by mazberry is correct, not that he needs anyone to confirm anything. Just trying to be helpful.

Do you happen to know the backspacing on the navigator wheels because thats what Im currently running. I found another 18x8 I want with 41+mm offset.

20x8.5 with a 19 offset and backside of 5 1/2?

No, If a +42mm wont tuck, how will a +19mm???

i dont kno? thats why im asking lol

ive seen them tucking on a frontier

They can tuck. I have a 91 b2200 with 20 x 8.5 w/ 5.4 backspace and they tuck, but i had to narrow the rear end and get narrower control arms made. Its also has a 3" traditional body dropped

wow... so you basically need 6-lug front wheel drive wheels? or narrow your arms and axel or switch to 5 lug.... thats gotta suck....

we did a mighty max bodied 2.5" on 20s. we had to run 20x8.5" intros on it. they had hardly any lip on the outside. looked really FWD like. im not sure on the offset it had, but i do recall tires and wheels runnin him like 1300 bucks. he just had 6 spoke ones. not the vistas. hope that helps a bit.

yeah, i would probably run a toyota or ranger rear axle (5x4.5" pattern) and then get a 5 lug swap up front, whichever route you choose. theres a few. then find some wheels you like.

Navigator wheels are actually 18x7 with a +44mm offset not 18x8

The 6 lug navigators are 18x8, im not sure about the 5 lug ones though. But they do have a 44mm offset. What wheels did you find Nick? I would like to see em.

If you can get those wheels in a 41mm+ offset they will work. that is if you have 3mm extra room in there, which it looks like you should. I checked those wheels by the link and all i saw was 6x139.7 with a 31mm offset. for those you wounld need to be able to atleast slide your finger inbetween the navigators and the fender since you will be losing 13mm which is a hair over 1/2 inch.
