I disagree. You can drop the core support mounts and the bumper mounts a lot more simply than trying to deal with the lowered strut bars that come from dropping the whole front frame clip. By lowering the strut mounts, you open a whole can of worms that binds the front end at max drop, requiring you to buy new tube lowers.

The "right way" on an isuzu (I had one, bodydropped, I am not just guessing) is to drop the ears and the bumper mounts and leave the struts bars alone. My rad fit back in, even though it mounted a little higher, but I only did a 2 1/4 bodydrop to lay pinch. If you z the front frame (I didnt on mine) you wont need any more than that to lay flat rocker, because the thing that keeps you off the ground is the lower suspension crossmember.

EDIT: I sold my truck before it was mobile and granted this was 1999, so I didnt remember exactly. I do now though. The guy who ended up with the truck used an e fan and laid the rad back slightly at an angle, so it fit under the curve of the hood.

imade a recessed pocket in the front crossmember for my radiator. you can also look in summit. they carry alot of diff size universal radiators

thanks guy for all your input, i did a little research and found that an isuzu amigo radiator 88- 93 is a inches smaller and it fits like stock one. i'll let you guys know how it works out.

I think you should do like Russ said. Buy a stock core support and drop the front frame horns. If it's anything like a mazda it's a very simple job. Like said above with a hacked core support nothing up front will line up.

I also droped the core on my truck with the body drop , it was way easier than cutting the frame horms and worring about the strut rods.. i called up summit told them my dimensions , and they found me a four core aluminum radiator that fit perfect with room to spare . which also has enough cooling capacity to cool a 302 ,350 whatever youwant..

it is far easier to drop the frame horns right in front the steering box. the radius arms are an easy fix. you can either make your lcas into a arms or use radius arms from a spacecab with the spacecab frame mounts. on a spacecab, and i dont know if its all of them, but i know for sure some, the radius arms mount to the back of the front  crossmember instead of underneath it. just weld the spacecab brakets to the back of your crossmember and bolt up the new shorter radius arms and your done.

One of my friends used a 91-01 Cherokee radiator in his Mazda when he laid it out...it's a short radiator, but long...went in with plenty of room to spare...   The dimensions are :   31 x 11 1/8 x 1 1/2 Not sure if it will work on an Isuzu or not, but just an idea.
