Cowl hood ~ Look okay?

I think it would have looked less obvious if the sides were angled or even radiused but it still looks good. I assume thats the car that the balljoint cups I made are for? Hopefully your happy with them. By the way I got the muffler you made on the S-10 and its sounds good, its actually quieter than I thought it would be.

Yeah, I still wish I could have. If it was mine I probably would have done it a bit differently. But then again, I would have taken every route to make the stock hood fit.. Lol.

Yeah thats the car for the balljoint cups. It got put on hold shortly after I finished the jig, lol. They look nice though, very beefy.

You ever get a sound clip of the S10? I have one of the mufflers on the Datsun but I haven't heard it yet.

IT LOOKS SIMILAR TO THE HOOD ON THE 75 HILUX ON HERE.. I LIKE IT ALOT BETTER THAN A TRADITIONAL COWL HOOD. IM NOT A FAN OF COWL HOODS, BUT I BET MY TRUCK WILL HAVE ONE... LOOKS GOOD

Yeah I wanted to do it like Jerrys hood originally, coming all the way back down even with the hood with curved/formed sides, but the owner didn't like the idea much. Said it sounded too much like a big ass Eclipse bubble.

Looks good seth i agree with u and Andy on rolling it tho but sometimes u gotta do what u can with what owners want and are spending as well.... man

I think it will look fine once the metalwork is finished and the paint/primer matches the rest of the truck.

im one for stock hoods too. i really like how this one looks though. the only thing that turns me off to it is the windshield squirter right on top. from what i can tell u cant really move it though can you?

I personally like the slope of the Cowl. It matches the look and contours of the trucks body style.
