Seth, you know what they say about opinions.....

As stated, as long as the customer is happy and the work is done right, job done! There will be plenty of other vehicles to bust out that english wheel on.

I like it just fine!

Seth you need to find customers that respond and want to spend money. Seems like a pattern.

If he doesn't want to spend the cash then there's no reason to give free work again. Hood looks like a custom cowl hood. May even be able to make a real working cowl induction with the slots.

Jim, this is a different kind of situation. I'm not getting shorted on this work like I have in the past. The customer is willing to pay for the work, and has had no issue with payments or adding costs. The issue at this moment is that just a few weeks ago he had an accident that cost him nearly $4k, which was basically what he had saved to finish up the truck. So some of the other things being done to the truck got cut to save money so that I could get paid. He was getting Coker whitewalls and powdercoated wheels, as well as custom interior done, and the work to run a stock hood, or close to it. But after the accident, he decided to go with things he can afford at this moment so that I can get paid on time, and the truck will still run and drive and he is still happy. I am pleased about this, and I feel both of us will walk away from the situation happy. He is already prepared to bring it back in the future for the motor swap with a custom header, and also a 5 speed swap, so it may even get a new hood then. He just needs time to recoup funds. He doesn't make much, and has been working long hours to pay for all of this.

I will post new pictures in a second.

looks alot better metal finished. i dont know if i would have made it as squared off, or the back tapper...but it looks good. nice work.

Think it looks pretty good, but yeah maybe slope the sides out a little more

Okay I hear you guys saying it, over and over, and I agree with you to an extent, but its not going to change. Like I said before the owner wanted the sides to follow the line of the cowl vent, thats why its cut where it is, thats why the sides are straight up and down, etc.
