Here is my truck in satin black:   <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v717/ajborowiecki/?action=view&current=IMG_1961.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v717/ajborowiecki/IMG_1961.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>   <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v717/ajborowiecki/?action=view&current=Meltdown.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v717/ajborowiecki/Meltdown.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>   <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v717/ajborowiecki/?action=view&current=IMG_1955.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v717/ajborowiecki/IMG_1955.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>   <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v717/ajborowiecki/?action=view&current=IMG_1956.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v717/ajborowiecki/IMG_1956.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> I was thinking about respraying it this spring after I do more body work and what not, and was planning on trying out that Hot Rod Flatz Twilight Black (satin/pearl) but it sounds like some people haven't had very good luck with it.  I heard the money trick is to use John Deere paint, can someone explain this more for me?

i dont recomend the hot rod black, im gonna do it again with base black and ppg flat clear. the dupont stuff scratches way to easy. we did a 350z in flat silver turned out killer

Here's the best shot I've got of mine.         My bike is satin too.  The pic looks shiny because of the rain I guess.

I was just talking to a buddy about this truck the other day, how did you get that? Is it just silver base with a semi gloss clear?   ---------------------------------------------Originally posted by ChrisRodShop---------------------------------------------
