Most people who are into minitrucks, are also in the auto repair business. I've been a full-time bodytech for about 4 years. I have to say I take pride in the quality of the work our shop puts out. I was hoping to get people from all over to show what kinda train wreck they are battling at work. I know the economy sucks, and maybe you only have 1 or 2 bumperjobs, but show everyone what you're workin on, the tools, the supplys you use on a daily basis (that most people dont know exist), what kinda paint you're sprayin. The labor rate where I'm at is 42, but most insurance companies are payin 40. We use car-o-liner measuring systems and rack. Lets see what youre workin with.

I used to work at a Cadillac dealer but now Im at an independent shop. Its great! My new place puts a lot of pride in doing things right and keeping up with good equipment. We have a Chief EasyLiner rack with a genesis measuring system, and a foor pull setup. The past couple weeks have been pretty dead though, dont have any big jobs right now. Ill take some pics tomorrow.

when stuff like that happens...do your sales guys inform the customer who will be purchasing the vehicle of the repaired damage? also what if it occurs at the factory/transit (ie before it hits the dealership)

i dont know if they tell the customers or not they should but im dont know and the stuff we get from transit that is damaged we fix then the manufacter pays us for it just like warrenty work and i do not know if they tell the customer about that also or not sales men are a bunch of crooks around here
