going to shows inspires me, seeing all the finished rides and knowing that i have mine sitting at home for nobody to see, it makes me want it done more than ever.

my first inspiration came from a show coverage section in street trucks when i was like 14. there was a 67-72 c-10 cruisin full of peeps in the bed, i was like, "i'm gettin one of those", ended up gettin my 71 as my first car.

that metal fabbed torso is crazy!

Boyd Coddington and Street Rodder magazine growing up. Reading it and drooling set my expectations so high. Once I found a and the tech articles of the mid 90's I was hooked. I idolize each and everyone that puts time and thought into their ride. Sweat the details and do not accept mediocre results.

Actually I am inspired by alot of the guys on here who do top notch work including Arron Iha, Max Fish, Bobby at Sadistic, and the list goes on. As far as what vehicles inspire me, I read tons of different mags like iron horse, MT, sportruck, street trucks, hot rod, petersons off road, 4x4, used to read custom rodder, and the list goes on.

I am inspired by the guy that thought up the number zero. Think about it, one day there is this guy sitting around, and he suddenly realizes that he has no apples. First of all, he thought of something he didn't even have. Second of all, he decided that he needed a quantitative adjective to describe his apple less situation. Amazing if you ask me.

Being from New Zealand, guys that inspire me are Bruce McLaren, Rod Millan, Burt Munro, Steve Millan, John Brittan....All guys that have built some pretty awesome machines.

when i was in the 3rd grade, a friend of mine and i were sitting in a tree that hung over the road.. we would eat ants, and drop stick on cars that passed by (i know, i know, i'd kick my kid's ass for doing that now) any way there was this OLD mexican dude rolling in his "lowrider", draggin by , throwing sparks... right then right there i knew that one day i would some day do the same.. My buddy was about to drop a stick on him as he passed, but i stoped him, it was a ride beyond any form of disrespect- at least to me. I'm 37 now, and still remember that car as if it were yesterday.

I've always looked at Eric Peratt at Pinkees and Troy Trepanier for inspiration. Both build absolutely amazing vehicles without comprimise. All look eqaully if not more impressive in person and most are even driven vehicles. A car that I walk up to that is stuffed full of details without flaws inspires me. If the guy built his own parts over buying things that innovation is even more impressive to me to take the time just to have something no one else will have.
