starters going bad. you can take apart the starter and realign the copper contacts in the solenoid or buy a new one. i recommend buying a factory starter. autozone, pepboys, etc are cheaper but they generally only last a few months
mine has lasted like 4 years.. and alot of them are remanufactured oem starters.
and mine did the same thing. it would work sometimes and sometimes it wouldnt. and testing it doesnt always work.. since it works sometimes. i manage an auto part store. i changed mine and it go rid of the problem
