just make sure you're applying the teflon tape the right way. if you thread it in the opposite direction it will actually take itself off as you tighten it. it may work at first, but it will eventually leak. i've never had chrome fitting though

my current setup had all prohopper fittings....they suck. Ive been replacing them one by one. Just replaced the shitty cheap slow down valves last week with some Deltrols....

yeah i bought a prohopper kit and had nothing but problems with the fittings, after i replaced all of them with parker i was leak free. fuck prohopper fittings, the rest of the stuff they sell is good though, not sure why they havent changed fittings they sell.

i know some of the art of noize guys are taking the brass fittings to a chromer and taping off the threads so the threads dont get affected by it but they still look nice. i think one of them said it was cheaper that way then to buy them chrome also.
