For as much as i like kyle's yota, the attention to detail on the Jap truck gets to me for some reason.

Oh don't act like you're not impressed too lol... I think in this pic you're point at the LOAD you shot on the ground after jerking off to the Mazda haha... But yes, I admit, I am in love. I keep thinking he'll just give it to me out of pity but no luck so far.I do love Kyles Yota though. It does have a little more of a 'wow' factor I guess, but just personal preference - Eli built something I would love to build.

Kyle and Toshihide have clean detailed trucks. Either of those. Toshihide may 'just be black' but the details in that truck are just nutty. Real AN lines not just clip covers. Both trucks everything was touched. I'm more of a fan of doing up your stock engine and accessories. You can't run down to the local shop and buy a chrome engine like most swaps can.

Elis mazda is bad a**.The black yota is very nic aswell.Didnt it take him five years and didnt it take kyle five years to build there trucks.They both made sure everthing was touched.Just bc kyle didnt put chrome bolts everywhere dont mean it went untouched.I mean the black yota is almost stock (which it was meant to apear that way)But like side b4 about yles truck. its has everthing done.So i guess its all about what you like.Black yota apears to be stock and kyles truck is out of the boxs along with the mazda.

Eli's mazda hands down, that truck is perfect! It's tasteful, different, and quality. Kyle's toyota is real nice, but looks too delicate to me and too "typical."

im not the least bit upset just to clear things up,like i said,ive never heard so many kind words about my toyota before, and i dont care what award my truck wins, but i gotta defend what i worked my ass off for 6 years over... i dont get where people get off saying mine isnt as detailed and what not as sum others, man to have all the chrome done on my truck took me well over a year, i was eatin ramen noodles and pbj sandwiches for as long as i remember one year bcuz every dime i made for months went to paying for parts to get chrome plated and $ to pay my shop rent! lol, maybe i feel differently then others cuz i built every inch of this truck, hell the only thing i didnt do was spray the base and clear and stitch the seats and shit, but u can bet your sweet ass i was standing right there watching while that was being done,i can honestly say this truck has seen 2 shops for me paying for work, one was when i had the doors suicided 4 years ago, and the other was when it was being upholstered by one of my best buddies,i spose its cuz its not a full tube one-off chassis with a 60s styled dash and a 454 bigblock motor... and as far as the chrome bolt comment goes, u better take a closer look because every bolt,line,clamp,hose etc. etc. is either chrome, polished, painted or brand new, i think i will start a buildup thread now that the truck is done so everyone can get a better idea,i never really posted many pics of the build up of it and havent taken it to that many shows, hell i am STILL paying my gas bill from taking it to reso, and that was almost a year ago! its the first truck i started building, 1st one i ever finished, and i had a blast doing it, and thank u all for the comments and criticism,it means the world to me

just my .02 but the Jap yota reminds me of the lowrider scene...didnt think we were about all that jazz...
