we had to skin my buddies hood on his burban to fit 24's I know he wouldn't be able to fit a 26 unless there was some new tire out that I'm not aware of. you could go 26's with the pinch possibly

im not familiar with that size 26" tire but i know when we built my brothers c-10 with it laying rocker(not pinch) we wouldnt be able to fit 24s, but that was before they came out with these really small tires. i wanna say the tire would have to be around 30 or 31" or smaller to fit under the hood.

Its completly possible to run 26s on it and lay flat rocker. The hood clearance is about an inch or inch in a half. i helped build most of the truck and i know the 25series 26 would fit by measurements (31inches tall) but you never know once you get the real thing and actually put them on the truck, and see the negative camber, the tow and caster up and down, etc. No matter what you would have to run that 275/25/26 but that tire is scary!

Thanks for the props on the paint, now if i could only get Paid all my money for the paint job that would be great.

I found the tires for 600 a piece im ok with just layin pinch the tires are 31.4 inches tall I was thinking of running 8.50 diameter bags drop spindles Z the frame it wont be drove much so positive camber at full lift is ok with me what I would really like to see under hood pics of anybodys c-10 with 24 or 22 with a pretty big tire just trying to get an idea if it is possible before I get alot of money tied up in those rims and tires for it not to fit

I've got an 86 burban on 24s with a 35series layin pinch and I have enough room for a full inner fender and its still not touching the hood. I just did a small z, sectioned the front x-member 2", put on a 2" drop spindal and it lays with no problem. I didn't even really need to tub it just hit the fire wall back a little, and I can untuck them easliy. So if your willing to run a rubber band tire you should be able to lay rocker on 26s just good luck with trying to turn that beast.

well you have to look at it like this.
everyone told duck and travis they couldnt put 22's on the nissan and they did it.
anything is possible with the want to and the right equipment.
me perosonally i wouldnt attempt it cause im too cheap to buy 26s! LOL

i say go for it.
