picked up a 89 2dr pathy AKA "path-grinder"im cuttiung off the stock suspension, and rebuilding it, it got tubular uppers already, question is what would be the best way to build my LCA mounts? i was thinking of just getting the stock hardbody lower suspension cross member and welding it in. but i figure im going this far why use stock stuff.i was thinking using some sperical rodends in a double shear config. i know you can adjust caster via the upper. so i could just use rubber bushings and make it(lca) non ajustable. anyone else done something like this?

made some progress today got all the 4x4 ripped out. i ended up using a 2wd hardbody lower suspension crossmember, just for ease and quickness of installation. I'm going to triangulate the LCA. need to get a 2wd pan the 4x4 pan hangs down below the 2wd crossmember like 2 inches.oh also found a brake upgrade for the 2wd guys 4x4 calipers are two piston and bolt right on the 2wd spindles just trim the backing plate a little.

got some more work done today and picked up a 2wd pan to swap on. and ordered my front bag brackets. all that's left is triangulate and bag and gusset the crossmember.

--------------------------------------------- Not sure if I will be going to lowdown I will be hitting up dropzone, mazdafest and any of the other shows in Oregon. How much for a hood chrome grill bumper?
